.application process
 

 In order to apply for this Master programme, you have to follow a two-step application process:

Step 1: Online application  

The online application is only possible during the following dates: 

•    April 5 - May 15 for the following winter semester
•    October 22 - November 30 for the following summer semester

Step 2: Paper application 
After filling in the online application, you will receive a pdf form with your data. In order to complete your application, you need to download this form, print and sign it and send to us by post. Please note that online applications will only be reviewed if we have received the supporting documents by post.

Please send the following documents by post:
•    downloaded application (please do not forget to sign the paper!)
•    certified copies from your school and university certificates/degree
•    detailed grade report
•    Résumé / Curriculum Vitae in table form and chronological order
•    certificate of your English proficiency (TOEFL or IELTS)
•    copies of certificates for internships and employment if available

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: After completing the application form and sending it online to Hof University of Applied Sciences, you have to print the form, sign it and send it by post to Hof University of Applied Sciences with certified copies of all required documents. Please note that Hof University must have received your posted application form by the last day of application period at latest. The date of the postmark is NOT sufficient. Applications that are only sent online and are not sent by post to the university within the application deadline cannot be reviewed.

 

Application deadlines and selection of candidates

Applications have to be submitted before the following dates:

•    May 15th for the next winter semester starting October 1st
•    November 30th for the next summer semester beginning March 15th

Please note: no payment of any fee is required to apply at our university, neither to a consultant nor directly to the university. If your application is handled by a consultant, you should be aware that the decision on the admission remains exclusively with our university.

When you fill in the application, please make sure you give a valid email address and a valid postal address. If letters cannot be delivered due to mistakes in the address, the university is not liable for ensuing consequences.

After the application deadline, the Admission Board will review all applications. The results will be announced about three weeks to four weeks after the application deadline.

 

Visa

Please note that as a non-Eu national you are required to apply for a study visa. Since the processing time at the responsible German embassy in your home country could take up to several months you should apply immediately after obtaining admission to Hof University.
